Hi Participants! Thanks for sharing your insights on the software and for being open to learning both. Both SPSS and R have their advantages and disadvantages but it really depends on the user and your preferences as well as the size of the data set in some cases. SPSS is not open source however, and that may be a hindrance in some cases so it is always great to know other tools as well, such as R.

This course provides a light introduction to the statistical software and the Bonus Activities using the software are completely optional since we know the software can be intimidating for first time users.
