ParticipantThe video provided foundational information on the scientific nature of psychology. Fundamental to the scientific nature of psychology is that it uses the empirical method to make sense of phenomena. I enjoyed it because of the brevity and preciseness in which the facts confirming that psychology is a science are presented. I am familiar with many of the steps and features shared. I appreciate the reminder that the scientific method is apt for understanding the complexity and variability of human behavior.

ParticipantThis video provided valuable insights into using a scientific approach to the study of behaviour and mental processes. Observations and experimentation provide the psychologist an opportunity to be objective as they collect and analyze data to make informed decisions. Much needed refresher!
