Participant1. If you are new to using SPSS, how do you feel about the software after viewing the demo?
When I first looked at the SPSS software it seemed easy to grasp but a little too complex since I’ve never used software like this before. However, after completing all the videos I believe with some practice and time I may be able to fully understand and be able to use the program.
2. If you are new to using R, how do you feel about the software after viewing the demo?
Being completely honest R seemed a lot more complicated than the SPSS due to all the information being displayed at once. However, as with the SPSS I believe after some time and practice I may be able to grasp this tool.
3. Would you consider using R or SPSS for your next research project?
Having to choose between them I am leaning more to the IBM SPSS as it seems I may be able to fully understand it sooner than the R software. -

ParticipantHi Renece,
I too would consider using IBM SPSS over R as the commands for inputting data seems too complex for me. I think I can grasp the concept of using SPSS through tutorials and practice.
