Participant1. Did students improve from pre- to post-test?
Yes. There was a statistically significant improvement in scores from pre-test to post-test (p = 0.0006).
2. Are gender differences in test performance statistically significant?
No. There was no significant difference between males and females in post-test scores (p = 0.72).
3. Which study method led to the highest performance?
Based on the results, Flashcards led to the highest post-test scores (mean ≈ 85), followed by Group Study, then Reading Only.
4. What does the Tukey post hoc test tell us about specific group differences?
The Turkey post hoc test tells us that all study methods differ significantly from each other:
* Flashcards scores are significantly higher than Group Study and Reading Only.
* Group Study scores are significantly higher than Reading Only.5. How can these results be applied in designing student support strategies?
These results reflect that one should focus on encouraging the use of flashcards and group study methods, as they lead to better performance than reading only. Support strategies can include teaching effective study techniques like active recall (flashcards) and collaborative learning.
