Participant1. There is a strong negative correlation between study hours and social anxiety. As study hours increase, social anxiety decreases and vice-versa (-.904, p< .001)
The strength of the negative relationship suggests that students who have less social anxiety tend to study more.2. There is no statistically significant association between Attendance and Pass status (p = 0.161 > 0.05).
Therefore, the level of attendance does not predict whether the students pass.
3. Pearson’s correlation is the preferred result for basing academic programs as it was statistically significant in the case of study hours and social anxiety. This result suggests that by assisting students with social anxiety through interventions like counseling and peer support, this may bolster studying behavior.
It should be noted, however, that the tests suggest a convincing correlation but social anxiety may not predict study hours and vice versa. This is a limitation of the study. Therefore there may be intervening factors that may influence the relationship between the variables. These should be explored.

It suggests that as one variable increases the other variable decreases. This is due to the negative correlation coefficient,-0.9036375 for the sample estimate cor.

Yes it is statistically significant since the p value is <0.05 I.e 0.00033533.Does attendance level predict whether a student passed?
No, it does not since the p value is greater than 0.05 I.e 0.16124.Which result would you prioritize when designing academic interventions?
It is best to prioritize the correlation results when designing academic interventions
