ParticipantReflection Questions:
1. What is the average perceived stress score among the students?
2. Did males or females sleep more on average?
3. Is there a relationship between stress and sleep? What does the correlation suggest?Answers:
1. 26.30
2. Males slept more on average. Male avg: 6.25hrs, Female avg: 5.167hrs.
3. There is a very strong and statistically significant negative realtionship between stress and sleep based on the data. The correlation was done using a two-tailed Pearson correlation which showed the correlation score to be -0.974. This shows that as stress increases, sleep decrease and vice versa. The significance was <0.001 which indicates high confidence level that is statistically significant (99% confidence level). -
