Participant- What does the correlation coefficient suggest about the link between social anxiety and study hours?
There is a high, negative correlation between social anxiety and study hours with a p-value≪0.05 suggesting a strong link. - Is the relationship statistically significant?
Yes, the relationship is statistically significant as p-value≪0.05. - Does attendance level predict whether a student passed?
No, it does not. The p-value≫0.05. This indicates that there isn’t sufficient evidence that attendance level is good predictor of whether a student passes or not. We fail to reject the null hypothesis. - Which result would you prioritize when designing academic interventions?
Because there is a significantly stronger correlation between social anxiety and study hours, this may in turn affect student performance. I would focus more on supporting students through increasing study hours.
