Participant1. What is the average Perceived Stress Scorce (PSS) among the student?
Answer: The average PSS among students was 27.2. Did males or females sleep more on average?
Answer: Based on the Descriptive Statistics output males had a score of (M = 6.25; SD = 1.04) and females (M = 5.17; SD = 1.03), when interpreted it means that there is a marginally higher difference for males as opposed to females. However, based on the results it is revealed that the differences were not statistically significant t(8) = 1.62, p = .144
The assumption of homogeneity was met with a test (p=.947).3. Is there a relationship between stress and sleep? What does the correlation suggests?
Answer: The test revealed that there is a strong negative correlation between the variables with a p-value of 0.001 and a correlation of -0.974. The results suggests that as sleep hours increased perceived stress scores (PSS) would decrease.
