ParticipantNote: The analysis was done using STATA.
Question 1: The average perceived stress score among students was 26.3 (+/- 4.95)
Question 2: On average, males slept more (6.25 hrs, SD+/- 1.04 hrs) than females (5.17 hrs, SD+/- 1.03 hrs). However, this difference was not statistically significant (p = 0.1438)
Question 3: There is a strong negative (rho = -0.9742) statistically significant correlation (p < 0.001) between stress and sleep; the data suggest that individuals who sleep more report lower levels of perceived stress.
