Participant1. What is the average perceived stress score among the students?
The average perceived stress score (PSS_Score) is 26.3
This was calculated by taking the mean of all the students’ PSS scores.2. Did males or females sleep more on average?
Males slept more on average.
* Average Sleep (Females): 5.166 or 5.117 hours
* Average Sleep (Males): 6.25 hoursThis means that, based on the data, male students got more sleep than female students.
3. Is there a relationship between stress and sleep? What does the correlation suggest?
Yes, there is a strong relationship between stress and sleep.
The correlation between PSS scores and sleep hours is -0.974.This is a very strong negative correlation, which suggests that:
As stress levels increase, sleep hours significantly decrease, and vice versa.
