The video cannot be viewed. When I began to carry out the exercises, it made a greater impact. For example just typing mean(complaints) generated an object not found error; however, when the data field was prefaced with mean(attitude$complaints) it worked.
It was from this point that the program began to flow for me.
I have had experience with SPSS and because of its interface being point and click it is easier to use. I would consider using R in future as it seems to handle some aspects nicely.
